This is a list of Sims 4 cheats to enhance game play experience on PC, Xbox One, or PS4. the Sims 4 cheats are listed by category and details about each.
In recent years, developers have been a lot more careful about covering their tracks, and cheat codes have been a lot harder to come by. Not so with The Sims, however: Now seeing its fourth iteration at 14 years of age, the life simulation game has always had codes that allow you to get nice little bonuses.
For previous players of The Sims, these codes will be very familiar. To enter them, you need to hit Ctrl+Shift+C on a Windows PC or Cmd+Shift+C on a Mac. This will open up the cheat console; type in your code and hit Enter for each cheat.
Note that the brackets aren't required -- they simply denote that you need to customize your code. Also, for cheats that give two options in brackets, you simply choose the one that applies. For example, to make all real estate in the game free, you would type "freeRealEstate on".
There is also one building mode cheat that we know of: when an object is selected, holding down Shift while pressing the ] key will increase the object's size.
The game also has shift-click cheats. To enable these cheats, you will need to type "testingcheats true" in the cheat console. Then, if you hold down the shift key while clicking on a Sim or object, you will have cheat options to select from.
