Drunken Game Nights

We all have shared party stories and they usually turn out the same, but what about a nice quiet night at home. Just you, the tv and console, and possibly a friend. Not your typical gaming night though…no. You have to bust out the booze for this one. I am going to share one of my most epic nights of gaming as I remember it…get it?

I had been playing Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for a few hours already, when a buddy of mine showed up to join in the quiet gaming session. We all have THAT friend though. When you hang out with them, the liquor cabinet doesn’t stay closed long. Well, it was the first time he had seen this Castlevania game and was super intrigue by it. So he stuck around and watched as I played. Well sober gaming wasn’t cutting it anymore and we decided to bust out some Iceberg vodka. (yeah we were poor college sudents). One shot after another became to normal. I would fight through the game, get stuck at a part, and decide it was time for one more. Before we knew it, it was 4 o clock in the morning, we couldn’t stand straight, and I didn’t know what the hell was going on in the game anymore.

Little did we know, this would become a rite of passage with any new game release that we binge played. We would bust out the vodka, and play and drink until we collapsed. I plan on doing so for Uncharted 4, No Man’s Sky, and the new Dying Light DLC to say the least!
